The Morning Routine

My Sound Walk, as it would be, was my morning routine. Obviously compressed a bit because in no way would I actually be able to get out of the door in thirteen minutes hahaha. I was a good challenge, and I expect I'll be putting a blooper track in another post some time because there was some good funnies in there too from my weirded out roomies. Either which way, I enjoyed the process.

Here it is, my Morning Routine!

The Elasti-Harp

Sleek, Wooden and a accented with imported elastic bands, this
exotic instrument is my first venture into the sound scape project.
Constructed out of fine hi grade ply wood, the hard stands with 5 ply resonance.

Its mathematically precise curves lay our the design for the attenuated elastics tuned by a trained professional. Listen carefully for the unique sounds and serene quality of this desired instrument....sorta....

But in all seriousness, project one was to quickly construct a musical object of some kind with whatever we could find. I had in mind to use elastics to create a harp. Later on, I've gone home and managed to find a way to tune the elastics to the C major scale by using a staple gun to hod the elastics at a specific tension. The plywood body is just some scrap wood I found in the wood shop.
